Threshold raised to ₹10L (from ₹7L)
206C(1G) for Education Loan Remittance:
Earlier: ₹7L
Now: No TCS applicable
206C(1H) for Goods Purchase:

From 1st April 2025, many TDS sections have new higher limits:
Sec 193 (Interest on securities): ₹10,000 (earlier NIL)
Sec 194A (Interest other than securities):
₹1L for senior citizens

You now get 4 years to file a revised return and disclose missed income.
But there’s a cost:
Within 12 months: +25% extra tax
24 months: +50%
36 months: +60%
48 months: +70%
