ETF investors, don’t miss these new rules! SEBI has introduced some important changes to ETF trading and pricing rules. Important conditions to keep in mind: • The new 10% initial band applies to equity and debt ETFs, except Overnight and Liquid ETFs, which have a separate 5% band. • The band does not automatically widen when the limit is hit. It can be widened only after the prescribed cooling-off period and subject to SEBI’s specified conditions. • For Gold & Silver ETFs, the 3% widening is also subject to the prescribed cooling-off period and conditions.
